| Treknow is a small hamlet with the beach at Trebarwith
Strand only a short distance away either walking or by car with Tintagel
about 1 mile away. Tintagel is where the famous King Arthur was said to have been born. Shutta Park is a tastefully converted barn full of character with double glazing and wood beams throughout with deeds dating back to the 18th Century. The property was converted by the owners in the late eighties and has been their home until recently. Shutta Park is situated in the delightful village of Treknow approximately 1 mile from Tintagel and a short walk to the coastal path and the beach of Trebarwith Strand. Enjoy a meal, where very good food is served, at the Port William Public House Trebarwith Strand which is within walking distance from Shutta Park. |

Oil central heating
throughout the house together with a woodburner and
electric heaters. We supply logs and coal for the fire. We are
flexible on central heating.
The rental includes heating, electric bed linen and towels but please bring your own beach towels. Regretfully no pets and no smoking in the house. The owners have recently converted a church and live opposite. They are both born and bred in the County and will be on hand if required to give help and local advice - eg places of interest, eating places and hidden Cornwall. A welcome pack awaits your arrival. Out of season winter breaks available. Come storm watching, walking and enjoy empty beaches and the coastal paths. Quiet pubs and cafes. Spend cosy evenings in front of the woodburner. |
